I first met Scott as a yoga friend 2 years ago in Nice, and was immediately drawn to working with him in a business mentorship. I didn't feel 100% ready at the time, but kept referring to him as an expander to show me what was possible in my own similar career path regarding virtual and in-person yoga and meditation offerings.
In hindsight it probably would have been wise to follow my instincts instead of waiting so long to begin, but I'm so glad I eventually took the leap.
Scott's passion for and knowledge of creating personalized tools within a proven effective structure was infectious and so encouraging. I shared with him that self-doubts and a tendency toward overwhelm had kept me from progressing in the past, and so he made it a point to tailor my task-list in a way that felt manageable and unique to what I was aiming for.
His approach was friendly and comforting with the right amount of accountability to ensure I kept moving forward despite any unforeseen internal or external setbacks. The additional content he provided like workshop recordings, PDFs, yoga nidra meditations, and comprehensive post-session reviews were also helpful and valuable.
When we finished our 3-months of sessions, I had reconnected to and clarified my target market and personal assets, refreshed and clarified the content of my offerings, got in the habit of creating aligned and consistent newsletter / website and social media content (even if I felt it wasn't perfect or ready), organized ideas for virtual offerings and courses, launched 1 virtual free offering and integrated the sign-up pop-up on my website (thanks to Scott's guidance), started to write and implement email funnels, launched 1 small low-ticket virtual course, booked a few sales calls, booked 1 high-ticket client, and more.
Most importantly, Scott helped me regain a bit of confidence I had lost over the years, encouraged me to set goals and manageable deadlines (even if small to start), reminded me that business is about commitment against all odds (i.e. not everything will work, and that doesn't mean it's a failure), reinforced the concept of the business "rinse and repeat" cycle and and reviewing analytics in ways that felt digestible and feasible, and wanted to make sure I remembered to have fun in the process.
I would highly recommend business mentorship with Scott if you're looking to enhance and polish your virtual and in-person offerings in a way that can generate consistent income. His own commitment to his business is additionally invaluable as proof that these methods work, as long as you are willing to go all in and stay the course.
Thank you Scott - I am forever grateful!
