All writers are welcome!
Hi!
I LOVE to journal. It’s part of my regular ritual to go to a café, sit down with my cappuccino, and pull out my journal. I love the feeling of my fountain pen scrawling across my journal, words materializing into paragraphs and pages.
Because I journal so often there, at my favorite café I’m known as “The Writer.”
I use journaling to organize my thoughts, to stimulate ideas, and to make sense of emotions. I use journaling to test-drive stories, to make grocery and to-do lists. I journal to discover. I’ve stimulated some amazing ideas—career-changing ideas—through journaling.
Mostly, I use journaling simply to indulge in the pleasure of writing.
Why do you journal?
Have you ever considered that just like meditation or yoga, journaling is a practice?
Just like everybody’s yoga practice is different, everybody journaling practice is different. There is no one right way to journal.
So let’s practice together!
Join this fun an interactive journaling workshop. It’s live, online via Zoom, and recorded for replay.
We’ll explore the practice of journaling by discussing the ritual, art, and pleasure of journaling.
Then we will practice some gentle yoga, breathwork, and meditation to prime us for some journaling exercises.
We will write together following a few writing prompts. It’ll be so much fun!
You’ll receive the prompts we use as well as several others prompts and techniques to help jumpstart your journaling every day.
You’ll leave feeling more in love with journaling, feeling connected to a community of writers, and ready to start or continue your own personal journaling ritual.
